Our Italian Maremma guardian dog arrives and settles well. He stays in the pasture. He lays with the piglets and is gentle with everyone.
At the same time, he watches what moves, makes noise, smells danger. Or so we assume.
It is quite amazing how he knows what is happening in the pasture.
